Sadie Amara Calvano, an American actress who is best known for playing Violet Plunkett on the CBS sitcom "Mom", has gained lots of attention. Calvano is from California and initially was intrigued by competitive gymnastics. However, she later determined to pursue a career in acting. The first time she appeared on screen was on the screen in 2010 with the CBS show 'NCIS. The following year her debut big screen appearance made it into the biographical drama film J Edgar. In subsequent years, she firmly established herself among the best performers of the day. She was nominated in the year 2011 for a Young Artist Award in the category of Best Performance for Young Actresses between 11 and 15 for her role on NCIS. In 2013, she was nominated once again for an award called a Young Artist Award. This was for her performance in Disney XD's "Kickin' It'. Calvano had a role in the cast of Mom throughout its first three seasons and was featured on several occasions in the fourth. Calvano's role as a rising star in Mom was recognized with an award called the Gracie Allen Award, which is given to outstanding female actresses.
